Man in House

It has been week, when I was discovering Liege with a Man in House. No you know it is the Man in House! Oh you do not know? Well I was lucky to create a photograph of him at the exactly the good spot. Place where house suppose to be, but only the Man was. Man in House.

As you can see on the following imageI did quite some editing on it. I know many of you may not like it, the other feels it is fashion. I like it as I always loved dark black, high contrast and drama in images. I wanted to express the loneliness of a man in a house, where there is no house. Question is: Is there a man?

Thank you Iurie. I have received quite some emails with comments about this image. I always wonder what stops people to write comment on this web page.

I have discovered what may be the reason why people do not leave comments on the web page. They receive the notification by email they see the picture and they just write answer in email. They even do not go to web to read all I have written nor to see bigger version of the image.
I suppose, such is these days ways. Pity…

Despite huge editing I like this one. The atmosphere of loneliness is immediately there. The further inspection just make this feeling deeper and deeper.

Arieli, thank you for your comment. Yes it is huge editing, but does it matter as long as it reflects the feelings I had when I took that image? I am not the documentarist :-)

This should be viewable much much larger… which is also the problem with the email previews. The picture in the emails should be linked to the web page with larger image.

Do you think people rather click on the thumbnail then on the link next to it? I may try it it may be the solution. Somehow I have feeling they find easier just answer the email with the comment then writing it on web where they need to log in.

I have just checked Dirk. If you click on thumbnail image in email you will get browser open with the post and bigger image. Is that what you meant?
