And so I went through all four images, played and decided to put them together, this creates rather different feelings for me than the first or second image. This is more like… Well you tell me ;-)

I think you should try making them look more alike. Some snow is white, some gray, then your vignettes. Second from the right is the best and should go after that. However, as a series it is kind of redundant. Pics 1-3 say the same thing. Somehow I get the feeling that you are a little lost with these images.

I like the idea of it more than Dirk, but do agree that this presentation is not the way to go with it… the snow needs to be more uniform throughout each image… the fact that the first three are of similar twig things doesn’t bother me at all, and having the different three, and then the fourth frame being the prickly thing, I like it… but the snow in all four needs to be more uniform or complimentary to the snow in the others… here the eye is just drawn to the third frame standing out with it’s virgin white snow, and the others being artificially, and naturally, of different tones.

Again though, I really do like the idea, and think it would make for a very nice and beautiful image and print… I’d buy it… if you could get it to work! :-)

    Dirk,
I am not really lost, even I am not sure what did you meant exactly. I was just playing with old images, there where nothing more to it.

I fully agree about the snow tone.

    Jeff,
well that is argument! But up to now I was working with simple jpg preview and that is why I can not get more information from that snow and some images did have artifacts. I have not scan these negatives in full raw scan.

Somehow I feel special about this images so I may do rescanning and to see what I can get out of them.

Anyway I see I can not fool any of you with quick 3min editing and arranging something on web. It really need more work than that :-D
I’ll try better next time, LOL ;-)
