More Stamps

Thank you all for writing me and wondering what’s up. As one of you wrote me, I need more stamps more triggers. Lately I was quite occupied with all kinds of things and I haven’t wrote much here. Actually nothing. Time goes quickly by and it could look like I am gone. As you know there is life outside of blog as well.
For a while, especially in beginning of this year I haven’t produce very much of new photos. One names this phase by phrase ‘being stuck’. I am not! I created some new things and I am still busy with a movie. Yes, I am creating 15min movie, kind of dramatic, theatrical piece with my images and very interesting music.
If you follow me on Twitter or you read it here in my journal between these letters, you know that I work with lights in last few week. I do very intensive almost every day. I learn a lot of new things. One part of myself would love to show you some images right away, but the other me always say: wait it gets better, it will be more sophisticated when you do more and show the end result! This is exactly the moment when I would love to have close friend with who I could share these not finished ideas after every single day. I would love to see somebody’s tryouts as well and sitting with glass of wine we would share our intention and our idea of the final image. Would be great.
Coming back to those stamps. I find it excellent idea and even better formulation of exactly the missing ingredients. I need you my friends.
Good to hear what’s with you, Richard, and glad to hear all is well… and yes do agree that time is just flying on by, and can’t believe that it is already May!
Like you, when I go digital, working with flash and lights, experimenting and seeing how to adjust and hone the lighting to the look and style I want, I know already is something I will work relentlessly on also.
And like I have said before, I sometimes wish we weren’t on the opposite end of the planet from each other and could get together now and then and talk shop. Isn’t Jacco in your neck of the woods and be somebody that you could share ideas and work with?

I’m looking forward to see this 15 min movie. As always, it must have a story behind and has you know, I will ask for it during our next beer (and I think that it will be in Portugal).

Yes Jeff, Jacco is near by, but busy with other stuff. I called him few times to join me.
Movie goes really slowly it is something which is rather simple to imagine but really difficult to make.
I learn new software while making it and it goes rather slow. Once I finish first minute I’ll publish peek preview.
Am I going to Portugal? nice! Tell me when

yes, I’m here. I guess I could also use some more stamps. (I’m really wondering who came up with that idea of stamps…)
Then again, maybe Richo has some stamps he doesn’t need, and I have some I don’t need. We can swap.
Jacco, I also have no idea who has made that comment about stamps in “just a building” post.
I only can say he/she is from the Netherlands xs4all internet provider.
And about the amount of stamps. I would suggest more we communicate more we do share the more we all have stamps to use for the others.
