Hello today,
I am sure you doing good today. I myself, had excellent morning. Actually every morning when Sun is shining feeds me with such a optimism, that sometimes I want to live only at the mornings ;-) But as we all know if there would not be down we wouldn’t notice the ups. And therefore there is no point in removing the downs.
Think about it, how interesting point of view it is. We need negative and bad thing to be able to see, enjoy and recognized the positive and nice things. When I was younger I had heavy ups and downs. Now it is less and I have to say that I miss it, and I mean not only those positive periods. If everything would be flat there would be no joy in live. All would be grey. So let’s be happy that I slept only four hours and had extremely difficult time to wake up today, but that I saw the Sun, clean blue sky and it made me so happy. (I love to write more about this one day, it has a lot of to do with my current view to things based on Zen.)
So why I was so late yesterday? Well. printer calibration and also I have published new front page photo. It is one of those images I saw first in my mind and than I was looking for it.
I always wanted to create story based on my feelings, expressions. I remember hours lying on ground and listening Pink Floyd and imagining images and stories based on their music. I was young, so young I couldn’t even understand the English. Surprisingly enough that what I have understood and created in my head purely from music and sounds was extremely close to the meaning of lyrics which I read years later. Isn’t that interesting? I would love to be able to produced such a creation that this would happened to somebody else based on my images.
Now I am slowly coming to the stage when I can create images which reflect my imaginary scenes from my head and notes. Hopefully I can create more complex series, which will express not only frozen moments, but whole perception of the feeling.
I like the front page photo very much.
Dirk, thanks. It is a matter fact very simple image. But I think that makes it rather powerful. As somebody else says the photography is art of reduction while painting is art of addition.

Good point, Richo. Only grey, all flat is… just that, flat and grey. Thanks for sharing these thoughts.
And the new front page photo is really nice. Simple, abstract, but not too abstract. I like it.
Reminds me of a quote I found on the web once (was it from you, Richard?) on photography, that I now have saved on my computer -
“Life is like photography, you use the negatives to develop”
Sure, it’s dated in this digital age, but…
