Dear friend,

just a short note from my trip in Belgium. After rainy cold weather all is turning sunny and warm from today morning.

I made a huge and yes Jeff I mean huge amount of shots. Even some of them Msy be very good, I feel more and more that I am repeating myself. I need som new spark, New point of view. I am looking forward to see all images on computer and making selection.

Before I left I change my printer, finally, to the new carbon inks 5K+ and looking forward to calibrate them. I also connected my x-rite 810 to pc. So all is almost ready for new printing.

    :-)

Trust me, Richard, I think I now understand… and if you want to know a secret- this long time, die hard film photographer, is for the first time looking forward to going digital.

And my thinking about shooting digital, I know that I will shoot ten, nay, a hundred fold more shots then I ever have, or would with film. For very much the same reasons that you explained to me, when I gasped at your previous shooting-of-multitudes day – experimenting, trying out different things, instantaneous feedback to tweak, adjust, try a little different, or to get it just right… I really am gitty with anticipation and excitement!

Have a safe and wonderful trip, and hope your day of shooting bears sweet fruit.

Thanks Jeff, I am really glad that you wrote comment. I wish you good choice in d-world. For me wouldn’t be possible to buy more than one.
