It is a longer time ago when I bought some filters. Still at the analog age, when I was using Nikon F100 and Fuji Neopan or Fomapan 200 films, I was using filters all the time. Especially the Yellow Y44 from Nikon. I am using them now too, even when I capturing images a digital way. One would ask why? Why when now you can do it all in photoshop. Well you can’t do and what you do is most of the time, as all the computer stuff, reproducible. There is no element of surprise. I loved that part, part when you take a film from tank and a image is there usually different than you expect.
Therefore and for other reasons as well I use the gel on filter and today I have used fog filter and other filters when I was taking images of Ema. We had fun today. In a garden at the nice sunny day and Ema in white dress running between fruit trees and green grass.
