Loosing you

I know, I know
friendship’s best test is to help when you need it without asking and coming back together after years as it was yesterday last time.
So here I am after few days and no new picture after not sure how many weeks. Where is the time of adding picture every day on piskoftak.com. But I hope you see that I am working a bit different now. I try to present my work in closed cycles, projects. Call you like you wish. The point is that isolated images doesn’t interest me at the moment very much. They must be in powerful group.
And as I am almost ready with my system I soon will present you with some new sets. Hey ‘set’ that is nice term to describe it, what do you think? Anyway I have rather limited feedback these last day, you do not write me anymore. :-) So do not be afraid let me know what do you think about this idea of grouping images. I would be also happy if you could tell me what do you think about offering these sets for sale in two forms. One as so called folios, which means bare prints enclosed in nice cover, and two as framed set ready for placing in you living space.
I am in process of offering this to interior designers and make cooperation with these guys. Many photographers are telling that they would love they work to be spread between people, that it is more important for them to see that people appreciate. I went that road for a few years, but I realize that in that case most of the time you image ends up in pile of others or at the best hanged on wall with some glue on pack.
What I would wish :-) is that people buy set of my images because they tell them something as a whole and they can buy it framed and placed immediately at the wall.
The other option, folios, I see more for collectors or for people who likes to look at images as in the book but with options to but them next to each other or possibly frame them if they wish.
So I wonder, what do you think about all this, let me know. Thanks!
I can really understand that you want to present series, projects, whatever. And I think you’re doing well. Obviously, it takes more time for a series to be complete. But it makes sense. I really want to try something similar, but it’s taking me a lot longer than you. I *will* get there, don’t worry…
I guess feedback is also less frequent: feedback comes after the feed :).
But I’m starting to get used to your new way of presentation. Not being able to comment on a single picture. At least we can all comment on your letters.
Ah, one more thought…
If you feel you’re not getting enough feedback, why not post a “preview” of a new project every now and then? Just one picture, or two or three, to give us an idea of what you’re working on (what ARE you working on right now, actually? Tell me!).
Or… as you have done before, put a first selection of shots for a series on your site and let us share in the creative process of elimination.
Well you are right, first feed. I did actually post images, no coments though. On other hand, even I like comments, they are not all.
