Do not be surprised if you will not see www.piskoftak.com in your browser anymore. www.piskoftak.com will be transferred in next few hours in www.richard-vanek.eu. I decided long time ago to merge these two web sites and to have only one web presentation for my photography work.

I hope there will be no drop outs when this transfer will be done as it is no only change of the name, but also change of web server hosting company and DNS records. Rather complex change.

If you see this note you were transferred correctly to the new web site provider and if you came here from www.piskoftak.com also the domain transfer went well.

    I was subscribed to your RSS Feed for your Piskoftak blog, you had an update on it saying that you had changed, I clicked on the RSS Feed to go to your journal to read it, and it took me to your new site, but gave me an error saying the entry could not be found… but when I went into the upper right hand corner and pulled down your blog link, it then took me to it… and I am now subscribed to it’s RSS Feed.

    Jeff, I believe you need to change your subscription to http://www.richard-vanek.eu/rss.xml. I will make redirection from old journal to the new journal pages, but that will be only for old items.
    New items will be at new RSS link

    Richard – I had already subscribed to your new blog RSS Feed, so I am good to go.

    Dirk – You need to go into and edit your Homepage link here in Haloscan… I clicked on your homepage and it threw me an error that it couldn’t find your page… looking closer at the browser address, I saw that you just accidentally put a space after the ‘www.’ and before your ‘japanexposures’ … once I removed that space (%20), from the address bar, it then of course, took me straight to your site. So just a heads up there.

    Richard, one design comment: when coming here via the RSS link, it is a little difficult to find the Home link when looking for more. I now discovered it as the last item in More menu. Intuitively I expect Home to be on the top left nowadays. Just my feeling. Perhaps that menu is better on the left rather than right.

    Yes with the home link I was struggling for a while, but there is nothing special at the home page ;-)

    To position menu on left side could be a good thing. Just let me figure out how to combine it with page title.
