Dark Image

Yesterday I published image I made Sunday. It is dark image of willow trees in front of small water channel. It is from one roll and hopefully if I survive today (I am rather tired) I will end some more.
There are two versions of this image. The primary and my favorite and this one. I would like to know your view on it and please calibrate your screen a bit ;-) The original is not really that dark.

This certainly looks different. Now, there’s sun, where there used to be some strange “orb” (as Jeff called it).
Still, I will check both images again at home. I’m aware that my monitor at work is too dark.
I don’t know if it’s because it’s a larger size to be viewed here, but the “orb” here, I don’t find as detracting as in the one yesterday… here, I kind of like the ghostly look of it. But, like the overall darker image of the previous.
This is really cool guys, I like your discussion finaly some dynamic on these pages. I really apreaciate it. I am just scanning next films and will be ready later today. Not sure I will be able to post any image, though. I actualy printed both variants if this image yesterday. And I certainly need improve the dark version. on print it looks a bit diffrently than on screen.
I have put one different image now on web, but don’t you warry, more tree like images are comming ;-)
