Oh no, sorry… it was just a stupid thing to say, and almost deleted it, and just should have.

No, I just put it, because some of it was over my head in technical jargon, that I half understood, and half didn’t… really, just disregard it.

It certainly though had nothing to do with the length of it… you should know better than that with someone like me who writes novels even on the most mundane of things! :-)

So Jeff, was this too long? You not use to text as long as one page from me, I know. It may as well become more often in future. Isn’t it strange that when browsing everything whihc is longer than four lines is too long?

Okay, I can’t believe I actually read all of that :-)

Anyway, I had been thinking of doing the exact same thing recently, of having a solely online computer, and one that is not online… or, having a computer, and then maybe acquiring an iPad to use as my tool to access the web and all that stuff.

Whenever Apple finally gets around to doing it (it had been rumored that it was going to be announced sometime this month), them releasing a new 15″ MacBook Pro, which is suppose to have the new form factor similar to the MacBook Airs, as well as be equipped with a retina display… I am wanting to pick that up, and have that be my main computer, as again, in a month and half or so, my being mobile and doing who knows what, and going who knows where, a laptop will be better than my desktop here (which I will give to my nieces, to replace the older eMac I gave them, when I got this here iMac). And, having an iPad to supplement the MacBook, to use for all online use, leaving the MacBook for work only… which I too would only have SSD installed (that is, if unlike the Airs, they have the option between traditional HD and SSD, it will only have SSD), as my 13″ Air (that I lovingly just gave to my younger brother and his wife), that is one thing I loved best about it, the SSD and instant startup, no moving parts of a HD…

Anyway… will see. Glad you got it to work for you though!

Yes, this was change I was preparing many weeks. I hope it was worse the effort.

For the rest of you, just simple note: This site is now running on different server, hopefully it will bring a little better performance and reliability. This change will also allow me to do some other things I am planing.

What was the movie, Richard?

A part of me has believed and felt this for many years now – that whichever choice and direction we make and take in this current life/world that we only choose to be currently aware of, on some other level, a part of us chooses, makes and takes the other choice, and is right now living that result. All now.

A book you might find good and interesting, is the other Richard that I have oft in the past mentioned and quoted – Richard Bach, and his novel ‘One’. In it, he explores multiple realities, allegorically and symbolically by, him being a pilot, him flying, and his multiple lives being represented by these patterns underneath an endless sea, where if, he touches down his plane and lands upon them, he is able to see and be a part of those alternate representations of himself.

Iurie, thanks for the great comment. Yes you absolutely right, it is always different story for different person and that is nice. My goal is that thinking is involved and emotions are created. In which direction they go is free :-)
And how did I create that effect of painted like silhouette? You know my shaving gel and painting on it with my finger and small brush, also the light and lens is quite important. I have promised write about it to Paul, I forgot, going to do it right now.

Yes, I know how you feel about no one ever sharing what they think with things we post.

It doesn’t tell me any story, but think it is a very cool image! The magic you do create with your filter and petroleum jelly! :-) I really like it.

Hi Richard!
Sorry, very busy, some things changed and I was short of time.
But here I am…
The person on the left has his hands joined at the back – this could bring two different thoughts:
1. Handcuffs – giving up the hope, getting ready to be fenced
2. Carelessness – relaxed yet full of confidence – he walks beside the prison with a mixed feeling of freedom, gratitude and pride.
Also I don’t know how you managed to do it, but the persons look like painted with aquarelle. Nice!
In fact I think this is the kind of image that gives birth to different feelings, depending on the viewer’s mood.

Iurie, some years ago I have seen book produced by Dirk Roesler and his friend Kurt. I think it was called two times eleven or something similar.
Inspired by that idea to have book which is more than presentation of one person view I talked to Paul. We exchange few emails and as a time went on we proceed to follow other things. I spoke about the same idea later with Jeff and Jacco.
I am going to prepare my Serene Mind for printing and I like to exhibit it this year autumn.

I guess it’s nothing wrong if I take the phrase:
“We (me & Paul) were thinking to create a photo book together.”
and change it a bit to be like this:
“We (me & Paul & Jeff) were thinking to create a photo book together.”
